Connect a Custom Domain

What this does​

This guide explains how to connect a custom domain in Franmantra CRM.

Connect your own domain name so people can open your Franmantra website with that address.

Before you start​

  • Make sure you have permission to manage domains.
  • Make sure the website you want to connect already exists.
  • Make sure you can edit DNS settings in your domain provider account.

Steps​

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click Domain in the sidebar.
  3. On the Domain Management page, click Connect Domain.
  4. Select the purpose of the domain.
  5. Select the website the domain should open.
  6. Enter the host or domain information exactly as required.
  7. Add the required DNS records in your domain provider account.
  8. Return to Franmantra and click Start Verification.

What happens next​

Franmantra checks the DNS records. After verification succeeds, the custom domain is connected to the selected website.

Notes​

  • DNS records are domain settings that prove ownership and point the domain to the right place.
  • DNS changes can take time to update.
  • Enter TXT, CNAME, or other records exactly as shown in Franmantra.

Result​

The change is saved in Franmantra CRM and is available to users with the right permissions.

Troubleshooting​

  • If you cannot see the option, check your role permissions or ask an admin to update your access.
  • If the update does not appear immediately, refresh the page and confirm you are in the correct Sub-account.
