Delete a Contact

Franmantra makes it easy to remove outdated or duplicate contacts from your database. Follow the steps below to safely delete a contact.

Prerequisite: You must be logged in to Franmantra with the appropriate permissions to manage contacts.

1. Open the Contacts Module

From the dashboard, navigate to the Contacts module in the left-hand menu. npm-start

2. Locate the Contact

The All Contacts tab lists every contact in your system. Use the search bar or scroll to find the contact you wish to delete.

3. Select the Contact

Check the box to the left of the contact’s name. You can select multiple contacts if you need to delete more than one at the same time.

4. Click the Delete Icon

With the contact(s) selected, click the Delete icon (trash bin) in the action bar above the list.

5. Confirm Deletion

A confirmation dialog appears asking if you are sure you want to delete the selected contact(s). Click Delete to confirm. This action is irreversible.

6. Success Notification

Franmantra displays a success message indicating the contact has been deleted.

Tips

  • Deleted contacts are permanently removed and cannot be restored. Ensure you truly want to delete them.
  • If you only need to deactivate a contact temporarily, consider tagging or archiving instead of deleting.
