Opportunity Creation in Pipeline

This guide assumes you are already logged in to Franmantra and have navigated to Pipeline → Opportunity.

Overview

Franmantra lets you add new opportunities in two ways:

  1. Select through an existing Contact – Quickly create an opportunity linked to a saved contact.
  2. Manually enter details – Input all opportunity information from scratch.

1. Create Opportunity via Existing Contact

  1. Click the “+ deals” card.

  2. In the Contact field, start typing the contact’s name or email and pick the desired contact from the dropdown.

  3. The email and phone fields auto-populate from the selected contact.

  4. Fill in or adjust the remaining fields: Opportunity Name, Expected Revenue, and Close Date.

  5. Click Create to save the opportunity.


2. Create Opportunity Manually

  1. Click the “+ deals” card.

  2. Leave the Contact dropdown empty.

  3. Enter details manually:

    • Opportunity Name – Descriptive name for the deal.
    • Email – Prospect’s email.
    • Phone – Prospect’s phone number.
    • Expected Revenue – Projected revenue amount.
    • Close Date – Expected closing date (pick from date picker).

3. Update Opportunity Stage

Drag and drop an opportunity card from one status column to another to reflect its current stage.

4. View & Edit Opportunity Details

  1. Click on an opportunity card.

  2. A side panel opens where you can review and edit information such as notes, tasks, and attachments.

5. Delete or Archive an Opportunity

  1. Open the opportunity details panel.

  2. Click (more options) and select Delete or Archive.

  3. Confirm the action.

6. Switch Between Opportunity & Pipeline Views

Use the tabs at the top of the board to toggle between Opportunity (card view) and Pipeline (list/forecast view).

7. Notifications & Page Info

• Click the i icon to view board-level information.
• Notifications (bell icon) keep you updated on changes.

. Tips & Best Practices

  • Keep opportunity names concise and descriptive.
  • Regularly update stages to keep the pipeline accurate.
  • Utilize filters in the search bar to focus on high-priority deals.


Next Steps

After creation, the opportunity appears in your pipeline board, ready to be moved across stages as you progress.


Troubleshooting

Contact not found? Go to Contacts and add the person first, then return to Pipeline.

Fields disabled? Ensure you have the required permissions or contact your admin.
